Dr Vikas Deshmukh He is an excellent Surgeon who has done his MBBS from Lokmanya Tilak Medical College, Sion Hospital, Sion Mumbai in 1992 and passed his M. S. in Gen. Surgery in 1997 from Seth G. S. Medical College with King Edward Memorial Hospital, Parel Mumbai. After his postgraduation, he started teaching MBBS students while working in Surgery department of B. Y. L. Nair hospital, Bombay Central, Mumbai. In 1999, he joined as Cancer Surgeon in Dhoot hospital, Aurangabad.. A year later, started working in Surgery Department of M. G. M. Medical College, Aurangabad till yr 2005. He started his own Deshmukh Hospital in Cidco, N11, Aurangabad in August 2005. He has mastered his surgical skills in Gastrointestinal, Gen. Surgical, Thyroid, Breast Surgeries and Laparoscopic Surgeries. He has undergone training in Robotic Surgeries at Italy as well. Dr Vikas Deshmukh is a Marathon runner, a regular trekker and a Pianist.

Dr. Prashant Purushottam Darakh [MBBS, MS (General Surgery), DNB (Genitourinary Surgery) – NBE, New Delhi] currently serves as the Joint Secretary – Administration of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for the year 2025–26. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at MGM Medical College & Hospital, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. A renowned Urologist, Andrologist, and Kidney Transplant Surgeon, Dr. Darakh is a leading name in the region’s surgical and academic landscape. He holds key positions including Joint Secretary of the Aurangabad Surgical Society and Executive Council Member of the Urological Society of India – West Zone. He has also served as the Honorary Secretary of the Aurangabad Urology Association during 2024–25. In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Darakh is a Principal Investigator and recognized Key Opinion Leader (KOL) in clinical research. He has led and participated in multiple clinical trials, demonstrating strong commitment to evidence-based medicine. Notably, he has been part of a research team that successfully underwent a USFDA audit, reflecting his adherence to global standards in clinical research. He has played a key role in organizing major academic events, including the Uro-Oncology Workshop 2024, and is an organising secretary for the upcoming West Zone Endourocon 2025, scheduled for August 2025.

DR. PRASHANT DESHPANDE

Dr. Prashant Shriram Deshpande is a Consultant Radiologist with over 23 years of experience in diagnostic imaging and radiology practice. He completed MBBS, DMRD, and DNB from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and National Board of Examinations. He is Director and Consultant Radiologist at Shreeyash Diagnostic Centre, specializing in X-rays, conventional procedures, ultrasonography, high-frequency and TVS, and colour Doppler. He also serves as Consultant Radiologist at Gopanpallikar Hospital and has worked as Director and Consultant Radiologist at Sigma MRI Centre and Consultant Radiologist at Brain Hospital. Academically, he has served at KEM Hospital and Navodaya Medical College Hospital and Research Centre. He has actively contributed to radiology associations and IMA through CMEs, conferences, and academic activities, with special training in Color Doppler and MRI. Beyond medicine, his interests include music, sports, travel, and exploration. He is an active player of table tennis, badminton, carrom, and chess, with achievements at All India, State, and National IMA and IRIA championships, and was awarded the title of Arena FIDE Master in 2026 by FIDE.

DR. PRATIMA BHALE

Dr. Pratima Bhale is a senior dermatologist and cosmetologist from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with 24 years of clinical practice. She completed her MBBS in 2000 and DVD Skin in 2002. She currently serves as Vice President of the Indian Medical Association for 2026–27 and President of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists. She has served as Ex-Chairman of Mission Pink Health (2025–2026) and Ex-Joint Secretary of Mission Pink Health (2024) under IMA CSN, Ex-Joint Secretary of IMA WDW Lady Wing, and Ex-Chairman of the Academy of Medical Specialists, IMA CSN (2024). She has been a Managing Committee Executive Member of IMA CSN since 2019 and is also President of the Dhanvantari Group. She is a Rajyastariya Nari Ratna Award winner (2022) and Me Swamini Me RanRagini Award winner (2020). Her fields of interest include Tinea, Acne, and Trichology.

DR. YOGESH LAKKAS

Prof. Dr. Yogesh Lakkas currently serves as the Hon. Secretary of IMA Chatrapati Sambhajinagar. A leading figure in critical care medicine, he is Professor and ICU Head in the Department of Medicine at JIIU's IIMS&R. He holds key positions including Secretary of ISCCM Chatrapati Sambhajinagar, Chairman of SPEN Chatrapati Sambhajinagar, and was the Chairman of the Aao Gaon Chale initiative (2023–2024). Dr. Lakkas has made significant academic and clinical contributions, with numerous publications and book chapters in critical care. He played a vital role during the COVID-19 pandemic and is a recognized postgraduate guide and nationally accredited speaker. Known for mentoring students for scientific paper presentations and for organizing several successful regional conferences, he continues to lead with vision and dedication in both academic and organizational roles.

DR. AKSHAY MARAWAR

Dr. Akshay Marawar is an Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in arthroscopy and sports medicine. He completed MBBS and MS Ortho from Government Medical College Nagpur in 2007 and pursued Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine in Mumbai and Kuala Lumpur in 2008. Since 2009, he has been practicing as a Consulting Arthroscopy Surgeon at Avadhoot Hospital and SMART Sports Clinic. He has served and continues to serve as an Arthroscopy Consultant at Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital, CIIGMA Hospital, Medicover Hospitals, and other hospitals in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. He has worked as Assistant Professor at Government Medical College Aurangabad and MGM Medical College, and is currently serving as Associate Professor at SRIMS and RK Damani Medical College and Dr. Hedgewar Hospital. His key interests include knee and shoulder cartilage regeneration, meniscal repair, sports surgeries, and orthobiologics.

DR. MANGESH TANDALE

Dr. Mangesh Tandale is graduated from Government Medical College Nanded and completed MS in General Surgery from B. J. Medical College and M.Ch in Plastic Surgery from Government Medical College Baroda. He has been working as a Reconstructive Microvascular Surgeon at multiple cancer centres in the Marathwada region and Maharashtra for the past 16 years. He has performed more than 3000 free flaps for head and neck reconstruction and more than 50 post-mucormycosis reconstructions. He has presented papers and posters at national and international conferences and received the Best Poster and Paper (Trunk & Abdomen) award at the Asia Pacific Microsurgery Meet APFSRM 2024. He has served as Faculty at the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery in 2023 and 2025. He is an EC Member of Maharashtra Association of Plastic Surgeons and the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India, and an EC Member of the Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He is also a member of APSI, ISAPS, IAAPS, ISRM, ISSH, NABI, MAPS, BPSGI, and ABSI, and currently serves as Vice President of the Aurangabad Surgical Society and Joint Secretary (Clinical) of the Indian Medical Association.

Dr. Sonali Saoji is an experienced and dedicated Pathologist with over 23 years of practice, committed to accurate diagnostic services and community healthcare initiatives. She completed her MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and postgraduate studies in Pathology from Rajiv Gandhi Medical College. She is the Founder and Chief Pathologist of Rainbow Pathology Laboratory, established in 2005. She has been an active Managing Committee Member of Indian Medical Association from 2023 to 2026, Chairperson of the Aao Gao Chale Initiative (2024–26), and Secretary of the Women’s Doctor Wing (2025–26). She has served as Master of Ceremony in CME programs, installation ceremonies, and various IMA activities. Her active participation extends to sports events, Women’s Doctor Wing programs, cultural activities, and Doctors Marathi Sahitya Sammelan 2025. Her areas of interest include medical diagnostics, pathology, community health activities, and sports & fitness. Her hobbies include cricket, swimming, carrom, and badminton, with active involvement in sports-related activities.
